First Glorious Mystery. The Resurrection.

The angel spoke; and he said to the women, 'There is no need for you to be afraid. I know you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. He is not here, for he has risen, as he said he would.'
(Mt 28:5-6)

Second Glorious Mystery. The Ascension.

As he said this he was lifted up while they looked on, and a cloud took him from their sight. They were still staring into the sky as he went when suddenly two men in white were standing beside them and they said, 'Why are you Galileans standing here looking into the sky? This Jesus who has been taken up from you into heaven will come back in the same way as you have seen him go to heaven.'

Third Glorious Mystery. The Descent of the Holy Spirit.

Suddenly there came from heaven a sound as of a violent wind which filled the entire house in which they were sitting; and there appeared to them tongues as of fire; these separated and came to rest on the head of each of them. They were all filled with the Holy Spirit.
(Ac 2:2-4)

Fourth Glorious Mystery. The Assumption.

All generations will call me blessed, for the Almighty has done great things for me.
(Lk 1:48-49)

Fifth Glorious Mystery. The Coronation of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

Now a great sign appeared in heaven: a woman, robed with the sun, standing on the moon, and on her head a crown of twelve stars.
